Rotary Club of Sackville and Area & Sportwheels Sports Excellence have partnered with The Salvation Army and Junk-Works in "Recycle Your Cycle" project. We are hoping that 100 bikes will be donated and are fundraising to include new helmets with each bike. You can e-transfer your helmet donations to rotarybicycles@gmail.com. or make cheque out to Rotary Club of Sackville and Area and mail to PO Box 147, Lr. Sackville, B4C2S8.
Drop off your gently used bikes, trikes, and scooters (non-electrical) to Sportwheels at 209 Sackville Dr., Lr. Sackville during regular business hours, from now to the end of May, where they will be cleaned, serviced and made ready for distribution. The Salvation Army will distribute to families-in-need and Junk-Works will ensure waste materials are picked-up, properly disposed of, including further recycling of parts where the opportunity exists.
